Welcome Corinthians and Guests to the 2025 Annual Cruise,
The cruise committee, under the leadership of Bill Burnham and Joe Rocchio, has put together an excellent itinerary for the cruise to Maine’s Midcoast. The Annual Cruise is an opportunity for old friends to get together and to make new friends. I encourage everyone to reach out and get to know people you are meeting for the first time.
I especially welcome those who are participating in the Annual Cruise for the first time. Diane and I will have you aboard Owl Moon for the traditional Master’s cocktail party for first timers. Look for it in the schedule of events.
First timers may not be familiar with the tradition of racing we have on the Annual Cruise. I think a better term for it is “fast cruising.” We are all going to the same destination, so why not try to get there as quickly as possible. With a few simple rules, we make racing safe and fun for all, so please consider joining in on the friendly competition. I know you are going to compare your performance to other boats anyway.
