Farkle is a dice game with origins in the Elizabethan era. It can be plaid by two to too many to count.
All that is needed to play: 6 dice, the rules, a way to write scores for each turn for each player. It is played in a series of turns where each player throws the dice in the original sequence.
What sets Farkle apart and makes it a fantastic game to play with a group is that the players are all engaged with each other on every throw. Any single throw can totally change the game. Play continues until a player exceeds the agreed to limit, usually ~ 10,000 points.
Each yacht participating in the Annual Cruise received a red draw-string bag with a set of dice and a set of Farkle rules.
So have at it!
Below are a detailed set of rules for the game. Tables of Probabilities are provided for those statistically inclined.
Enjoy! Don't keep the anchorage awake too late with the howls that follow most throws in the late stage of the game.
