While our plan is to spend the night in Long Cove (just north of Tenant’s) a lot will depend on weather forecast for following day as we want to arrive in Belfast in plenty of time for opening festivities. Rockland is the alternative destination.
SV Onward; Peggy & Joe
Tenants Harbor is a small quiet harbor that is an easy sail from Boothbay Harbor. It allows one to "turn the corner" and get into Penobscot Bay with an easy day's sail ahead to Belfast.
That said, its facilities and amenities are limited.
At this time Onward is planning to sail past Tenants and head to Rockland. With its huge and well protected anchorage it is easy to get into. It is a good place to provision.
If a stop short of Rockland is dictated by conditions, Onward may pop into the big anchorage just S of Sprucehead Island and E of R4 for a quiet well-protected stop.
