Introduction
·      Today is the 9th day of the Annual Cruise.
·      The main events of the day are a short cruise from Long Cove west to Camden.
·      An early arrival in the harbor should provide a plenty of time to explore the many Retail Exercise Opportunities as well as lunch in the many restaurants and pubs at the head of the harbor.

Approach

• Camden is readily found nestled at the base of the Camden Hills. The main entrance channel is straddled by two islands and shoals to the N. Take care on approach.
• The largest segment of the mooring field is to the N of the main channel.
• See the Proposed Route Chart below.
• The proposed route for the Fleet proceeds N from the exit of Seal Bay and then W through the scenic Fox Island Thoroughfare. At the W end of FIT it is a straight course NNW to Camden.

• Anchorage:  Very limited anchorage space in deeper water at harbor entrance – tends to be very rolly due to traffic and weather
• Launch Service: 
• Camden Yacht Club – for their patrons.
• Lyman Morse - free for mooring patrons; charges for others: $10 per person one-way, $15 round trip.
• Dinghy Dock:  City pier at NW corner of harbor.  Be respectful; use designated dinghy pier.
• Fuel:  Lyman Morse Wayfarer Marina.
• Water:  Lyman Morse Wayfarer Marina,  Camden YC for guests, City pier.
• Pumpout:  Pumpout boat available.  Call VHF-16 or 207-236-7969 to schedule a pump out.

• There is a Hannaford supermarket.
• On Saturday, Lauren O'Brien is willing to provide rides (one person per boat) from the town dock to Hannaford (and back). She can accommodate 3 people every half hour based on advance sign up.
•
