Port of Call Latitude & Longitude: 44º 19.90 N; 68º 24.66 W Introduction ·Today is the sixth day of the Cruise and will take the Fleet from Somes Sound SSW to Pretty Marsh Harbor in the NW quadrant of Mount Desert Island. ·The main events of the day are: oFun & games in the anchorage oCocktails and dining aboard boats in the anchorage Port Captain(s) ·John Geisinger Approach ·The Fleet will retrace its course S from the head of Somes Sound south past Bear I to starboard, Sutton Island and Great Cranberry Island to port. ·Then, taking G1 to port, the course will be W through the Bass Bar channel. ·The course is then NW (~315º) to make the passage NNE between Moose Island to starboard and Hardwood Island to port. ·A course of ~30º for ~3 nm will bring us into the anchorage.
