Your Annual Cruise Committee is pleased to announce the dates and opening/closing ports-of-call for the 2025 Cruise which, traditionally, takes us every three years to Maine. In a loose attempt to reprise the unique 2016 Acadia National Park Centennial Cruise, our fleet will return to the Park and Penobscot Bay ports this year. All boats will convene in Belfast on Thursday, July 31, and wrap up Saturday, August 9 in Camden. During the week a Lay Day is tentatively planned at Abel’s Boatyard in Somes Sound where a hike up Cadillac Mountain or a tour of the Asticou Azalea Gardens is in the offing.
In Belfast, our port Captain, Alice Mutch, has made arrangements with the Harbormaster, Kathy Pickering, for moorings and dockage. Kathy’s phone is (207) 338-1142. She is holding slips (limited in number) and town moorings for the Corinthians. Cruise captains should phone the Harbormaster Office directly and state they are members of the Corinthians Cruise - Maine 2025. Alternatively, Belfast Marina slips also can be reserved through Dockwa. Also, moorings, slips and dock floats are also available from Front Street Shipyard in Belfast; call at (207) 930-3740 or go on their website at
. If booking through the Belfast Harbormaster, requests should be made by 25 February 2025. It is advised to get your dock/mooring reservation early as this is the peak cruising week in Maine.
In Camden, Lyman Morse (formerly, Wayfarer Marine) has over 30 moorings available and limited dock space (rafting, though, is allowed). Reservations are open now through Dockwa. Any questions here may be directed to Joe Rocchio or myself…or call Charlie, Lyman Morse’s Dockmaster, at (207) 236-4378 and follow the prompts.
Finally, look for an announcement regarding a pre-cruise rendezvous at Boothbay Harbor YC July 28. BHYC is approximately two days sail to Belfast.
Since harbors are small and meal venues are limited, it would be good if you would send to Bill Burnham your expression of interest in joining the Cruise by emailing him at
